What;s Christmas without a snowman!!!!

Well I started to ceramic years ago. Up to last year I had my own kiln but ceramic stores started to close down and the price of electricity shot up so I sold it. I still have a dozen pieces that i had cooked but not painted. So this weekend I decided to paint a piece. I miss doing ceramics. So here is my finished piece. It is sitting next to my fireplace and of course it had to be pink!!!!!!

  1. Love your snowman Linda. I also did ceramics years ago but didn't own a kiln. I guess crafters try it all. You did such a beautiful job on this darling snowman.

  4. Hi Linda, I have done ceramics for over 25 years. I also have my own kiln. I am now trying to learn cards and rubber stamping. There is so much to learn. I've done quite a few crafts but card making has so much to it that it's a little overwhelming. One day at a time. I just love your snowlady and your cards. Denise

  5. What a delightful little snow person. She's lovely with her rosy cheeks and perky lashes. I've done plaster molding and lots of ceramic painting. There's something so special about working in these media and I know how much you must miss it.

  9. Oh my gosh, I love this!! It totally flashed me back to my youth when we made ceramics at the Girl's Club...it was my favorite craft! I have a snowman I made that is nowhere near as beautiful as this but it is packed away somewhere at my parent's house. What an awesome project :D

  10. I love hand building in clay Linda and I too have my own kiln. Since I have been paper crafting about a year and a half now, I have not worked in clay. Your snowman is so cute.
